Job Description:
The A/V Service Technician and Installer interacts with clients in troubleshooting,
repairing, and installing complex custom home entertainment technology such as,
control systems, whole house audio, lighting control systems, home theater systems, automated shades, security, surveillance systems, and networks.
Responsibilities include:
Daily interactions with other team members, residential and commercial clients
Project review, staging/checking equipment, loading trucks, maintaining vehicle
inventory
Following documented system design, installing specified equipment
Managing installations to ensure client satisfaction and jobsite cleanliness
Training customers on equipment use
Managing junior-level technicians onsite
Independently performing diagnostic and/or repair service calls
Submission of daily job progress reports
Qualifications:
3+ years of audiovisual installation, alarm, or electrical industry experience
Ability to interpret floor plans and various technical schematics
Solid understanding of signal flow and professional audio components
Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, video, control systems
Strong computer and networking skills
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have a
proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines within often fast-paced
environments
Ability to work well in team settings and be able to communicate effectively
Ability to work well independently and interface with clients
Working knowledge of hand and power tools
Construction experience/knowledge preferred
Certification and/or Experience: Control4, Savant, URC, Crestron, Lutron, alarm
certification (DCJS) is preferred
Professional appearance is a must.
A valid Driver’s license is required.

Our firm is searching for an experienced industry professional to fill the role of Systems Designer/Sales Representative to meet with clients and design low-voltage systems based on their lifestyle. The role of the System Sales Representative is a full-time position with an open salary based on draw of earned sales commissions.

Job Description:
This position works closely with Integration Specialists and Operations daily, providing custom system solutions to enhance our clients’ electronic lifestyles. Systems include custom home theaters, whole-house audio, security and surveillance systems, automation systems, automated window treatments, lighting control systems.
Responsibilities Include:
Sales development
Sales lead management
Site surveys/client walk-throughs
Generation of system proposals
System design
Specification of products
Technical drawings
Room/space design
Labor estimating
Client relationship management
Qualifications:
3 – 5 years’ sales industry experience required. Experience within the A/V
integration industry preferred.
Must have the ability to work with minimal oversight, and must possess strong
time management, computer, and organizational skills.
Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook,
reading plan drawings, writing ability, and arithmetic skills.
A knowledge of control systems, audio/video distribution, lighting control system
design, shade control, climate control, network design, security and surveillance
system design, projection system design is preferred.
Professional appearance is a must.
